Back To The Grind

Vacation is over and it's the first day back at work. Ick! It was nice to be away where it was warm and people where friendly. We had a nice vacation and it was wonderful to see family and meet new family. My in-laws are wonderful. My Mother was here usual self, but it was nice to see my Dad and Jerry and I had a wonderful lunch with my Grandmother and her husband who also posed as the photographer. Can't wait to get some photo's. It was kind of nice to experience small town life. The pace of things was wonderful.

I earned a B+ in my first Master's class and the new class started Tuesday. I already have a paper to write this weekend.

Missy's birthday is today. She's one year old. I think we'll got to Pet Zoo and let her pick out toy and Simon can pick one out too:)

Rollin...Rollin...Rollin...

We leave tonight to go to Missouri! It was SO hard to say goodbye to Simon and Missy this morning. Simon had been especially loving this weekend. I know they're in good hands at Forster Parents. We finally made it to Home Depot to get some ply wood for Simon's wagaon. We got it all fixed up for him and even put water seal on it. The platfrom is a little smaller then he had before but maybe he'll share it with Missy.

It's so much work trying to take a vacation. I had to finish my final paper from my first Master's Class. 4,000 words is a lot to write. Plus, trying to pack and get things ready around the house. Not to mention how much family drama there is. Come on people, we chose MO so it would be easy for everyone to come and people act like we asked them to fly to Alaska. I am not sure when we'll make it to MO again. I am really hoping for a smooth and uneventful flight. Pop on the iTunes, watch a DVD with Jerry and I am sure it won't be long before my eyes close.

Puppies

Last night we had to take our puppies over to Foster Parents for a trial sleepover. Everything has gone well with their play dates so I am sure they did fine and they used to live with Foster Parents before we adopted them but still I am sad. I love having them sleep on the bed with me and wake me up with puppy kisses. So it was strange without them this morning. Yesterday when we left I hard Simon cry and it tugged at my heart. I know their just dog and not kids but still it so wonderful having them. I can't wait to go pick them up tonight.

This week has been so stressful with trying to finish up my first Master's Class. I have to write this 5,000 word solution paper and I am trying to do so good but it's hard with only a week to write the paper. At least I get a week break between this one and the next class, although I am going to have to print out the class material to read on the plane. I don't want to get behind before I've even started:)

Dum...Dum...Da Dum...

So in twelve days I am going to marry the love of my life for the second time! I am really looked forward to going to Missouri and doing our vow renewal with the minister and having our friends and family there. Plus, although it's a casual affair, I am going to wear my Mom's dress. I think it was just the prettiest and she made it.
